Venice Beach has long been a haven for free thinkers and creatives, but a new wave of conscious entrepreneurship is rising, led by innovative hubs like The KINN, a private membership club designed for founders, creators, and changemakers who are not only building impactful businesses, but also seeking community and a shared sense of purpose
This summer, The KINN joins forces with communication strategist Richard Greene, visionary brand architect Rhonda Swan, and WILD Global Inc. to host a back-to-back WILDx + TEDx-style event, designed to spotlight authentic voices and catalyze meaningful conversations. We sat down with The KINN’s founding team to discuss the inspiration behind this collaboration, the power of storytelling, and why now is the time to speak up—and lead with intention.
Marking a major milestone, The KINN is producing one of the most high-profile, celebrity and VIP-driven TEDx events to date—solidifying its role as a major platform for developing impactful speakers, transformative ideas, and purpose-driven ventures in Southern California and beyond.
Following the sold-out TEDxPacific Avenue event on June 8, The KINN has plans to expand with additional TEDx experiences and a monthly “KINN Talks” series. These intimate gatherings will give community members a stage to refine their speaking skills, test fresh ideas, and develop future TED Talks and keynote presentations. For those seeking to go deeper, The KINN will also offer ongoing Public Speaking Workshops led by Richard Greene, providing weekly opportunities for members to master the art of communication and confidently share their message with the world.
Q: The KINN has quickly become a creative hub in Venice Beach—what inspired you to open your space to a TEDx-style platform focused on storytelling, personal truth, and impact?
The KINN Founders:
The KINN was built as a sanctuary for conscious entrepreneurs—a space where visionaries can gather, grow, and collaborate with purpose. We believe that real change begins with bold conversations and courageous ideas. Hosting a TEDx-style platform felt like a natural evolution of our mission: to elevate voices that challenge the status quo and inspire action. We’re passionate about amplifying messages that matter and creating environments where people feel safe to express their truth.
Q: What does it mean to you to collaborate with Richard Greene, one of the top speaker coaches to world leaders, and Rhonda Swan, founder of WILD Global Inc., on a dual-stage event designed to amplify authentic voices?
The KINN Founders:
It’s been incredibly powerful. Richard and Rhonda are masters at helping people unlock their voice, not just to speak, but to be heard. Their expertise brings depth, heart, and intention to everything we’re co-creating. This collaboration isn’t just about putting on a speaker series—it’s about creating a sacred container for transformation. When you combine Richard’s decades of experience in political and public speaking with Rhonda’s fierce dedication to empowering women and building global brands, you get something truly electric. We’re honored to be on this journey with them.
Q: How does The KINN’s mission align with the vision of giving everyday people a stage to share their message, and why do you believe now is the right time for these kinds of conversations?
The KINN Founders:
The world is changing fast, and we believe the next wave of solutions won’t come from institutions—they’ll come from individuals. From people who have lived experience, from founders rethinking business models, from creatives tapping into new paradigms. Now is the time to share stories that heal, provoke, and inspire. People are craving authenticity, and that’s what this event is all about. We’re not looking for perfection—we’re looking for truth. And truth, when spoken from the heart, can spark real transformation.
Q: This event is more than just a speaker series—it’s a movement. What do you hope the community takes away from this back-to-back WILDx + TEDx-style experience, and what kind of legacy do you hope to help create?
The KINN Founders:
We hope attendees leave feeling lit up, with clarity about their purpose and confidence in their ability to make a difference. We want people to realize that leadership doesn’t always come with a title—it starts with a decision to show up and share your voice. The legacy we’re working to build is one of fearless creativity, conscious collaboration, and collective evolution. We envision this event as a catalyst, igniting a ripple effect where ideas shared on stage lead to impact in the real world.
Q: For those who are feeling the call to share their story but haven’t yet taken the leap, what would you say to them, and how can they get involved in future events at The KINN?
The KINN Founders:
Start where you are—your story matters, and someone out there needs to hear it. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
We’re also excited to be hosting a transformative Public Speaking Workshop led by Richard Greene, starting July 8th. This experience is designed to help people tap into their message, overcome stage fright, and speak with clarity and power. Spots are limited, so we encourage those who feel the pull to apply early. Whether you dream of stepping on a stage or simply want to own your voice more fully in everyday life, this is a powerful first step.
