Movements in food, politics, and, of course, art, are many. And sometimes there's a confluence of all three. Meet the tortilla art movement.

The San Francisco-based Great Tortilla Conspiracy wastes no time in using its medium of choice with pressing issues of the day. So this week, fabulous Oakland artist Favianna Rodriguez jumped on the case (um, so to speak) with Sotomayor-themed tortillas at the arts collective Taller Tupac Amaru.
