Yiwei designed an affordable, user-friendly cloud POS system for minority and small merchants, ensuring accessibility and support for traditionally marginalized businesses and demonstrating the ability to create inclusive and impactful design solutions.

SafeHarbor is another notable project, focusing on enhancing female driver safety and accessibility. This AI-driven car-connected app provides safe route planning, safety watch integration, AI voice companionship, community safety contributions, and emergency response. Yiwei’s extensive user research informed the development of the AI Voice Companionship feature, which offers personalized, reassuring interactions, significantly improving user experience and setting new standards for AI integration in public safety tools.These features collectively enhance female drivers’ safety and well-being, reducing the risk of harassment and accidents and empowering women to drive with confidence.
