There's no surer sign of gentrification than a classy-looking wine shop moving into your neighborhood. The Kosher Corridor, which has been booming with new restaurants these past couple of years (most recently Komodo; before that, Twenty Six by Shiloh), is getting a wine and spirits store.
The Cask will open on the 8600 block of Pico Boulevard, right next to Schwartz Bakery and just a few doors down from modish furniture store Blueprint, which recently relocated from its Beverly Boulevard digs. When? Why? What will it sell? Who's behind it? Sorry, no details… yet. We're working on it.
