Ten people were arrested at the Hard Summer dance music festival near Chinatown over the weekend, according to CBS2. Alleged violations included trespassing and theft.

All eyes were on the event, which drew several thousand people to the Los Angeles State Historic Park, after June's Electric Daisy Carnival rave saw 60 arrests, more than 200 medical responses and subsequent the death of a 15-year-old girl who apparently took ecstasy to enjoy the party.

While not a full-on rave, Hard drew similar crowds and featured big-name dance music acts such as Digitalism, Tiga, Green Velvet and Major Lazer. The company behind Hard, Nitrus, LLC, noted before the event that security would be tight.

“In light of recent events, security and law enforcement have been increased for your safety,” the company stated on the Hard site.

Last summer's Hard festival was shut down before it really get started after fans climbed down a balcony to storm the main floor of the Inglewood Forum. Nearly 18,000 fans showed up for the sold-out event before police stopped the party.
