Call it slogan’s run. Whether with marking-pen-scrawled statements or elaborate silk-screened pictorial satires, thousands of protesters — denied the right to assemble in Central Park — put their commentary on their chests and took to the streets last Sunday before the start of the Republican National Convention in New York. Some dispensed with the tees altogether. No doubt more than a few Republican delegates raised eyebrows at the “Boobs 4 Bush” declaration inked on the flesh of a few comely, and shirtless, ladies — although we suspect some of the fellows might have misconstrued the medium as the message. Buck Fush, indeed.
