The woman who blocks two lanes of traffic because she almost missed her precious left turn. The man who blasts through a red light right about the time you've hit the gas to go on a green. The idiot who won't pull all the way to the right to make a right turn, thus blocking your right-of-way as he waits for someone to cross the street.

They're typical L.A. drivers, right? And apparently, they're some of the worst in the nation:

Yes, you're not alone in your assessment that Los Angeles has the most idiotic motorists across the land.

The latest “Allstate America's Best Drivers Report®” says that among cities with populations of 1 million or more only Philadelphia is worse than us.

You know what? We've lived in Philadelphia. This is a lie!

The report is based on claims data and says that L.A. drivers are nearly 50 percent more likely to crash than an average American motorist. The metropolis ranks 181st safest overall, compared to 182 last year and Philadelphia's 189 for 2013.

The safest big city was Phoenix followed by San Diego.

Nationally, car crashes were on the rise, with a 1,700-accident increase in one year, Allstate says.

Be careful out there.
