The L.A. Daily News, Stimulus Watch and US offer nifty search engines permitting readers to look through the 321 projects that the city of Los Angeles is submitting to Washington for its $7.3 billion cut of the $790 billion stimulus plan, which the House passed today. The database shows that the lowest-end project comes in at $7,830 for improvements to a school parking lot on Imperial Highway and would not create any new jobs. Several other proposed projects would create no new jobs, while the most jobs — 31,243 — would be generated by the city's biggest biggest project, the Solar L.A. Program, with its $2,160,000,000 price tag.
