St. Vincent Hits Hollywood: History is going to remember St. Vincent as one of the most exciting, innovative musicians of these times. Mark our words. She’s simply unstoppable — each album more challenging and yet more thrilling. If 2017’s Masseducation was a contemporary journey through a Warhol-esque lens through urban decadence, debauchery and decay, this year’s Daddy’s Home is a personal account of her father’s release from prison. She’s not afraid to write from her heart, indeed her journal, and the music is never less than magnificent.

Her latest single is “The Nowhere Inn,” from the movie of the same name starring and written by herself (as Annie Clark) and Carrie Brownstein. She’ll surely be playing that, and songs from all six albums, at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend.

St. Vincent Hits Hollywood: The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 24 at the Hollywood Bowl.
