AUGUST 24-30, 2007
Virgo, the sign of service, began on Thursday morning, a few
hours before the exhausting Mars-Jupiter opposition became exact. Just in case
you're wondering what hit you, or why you feel compelled to give, give,
give of yourself! You can discuss it endlessly on Friday while Mercury tests Jupiter's
largess, before getting angry during the provocative Mercury-Mars square on Saturday.
Vent to your heart's content, because the night was made for making up.
We'll have another of those deliciously romantic, but totally delusional,
polarities between Neptune and Venus, except that the goddess is retrograde this
time. A day or two of emotional clarity before the Pisces full moon is totally
eclipsed early Tuesday, followed by utter chaos.

Aries

You didn't wake up one morning and decide to become argumentative. You're
simply reacting to your Mars ruler as it makes its way through rational, communicative
Gemini. But if you're suddenly able to see both sides of an issue, blame
the dual nature of the Twins. While you're at it, try signing checks with
the other hand; ambidexterity is another Gemini asset, as is counterfeiting. If
ever you wanted to break out of a mold of your own making, to fly a bit higher
(without creating a firestorm in your wake), this would be a good time to make
your move.

Taurus

Are you rewinding the history of a relationship back to the point where it first
became ambiguous? Although fresh opportunities may present themselves, the further
into your Virgo house of romance and risk the planets progress, the deeper into
the past you're likely to delve. After your Venus ruler comes out of retrograde
on September 8, you should have a better understanding of why you've invested
so much passion, possibly money as well, in this matter. Best of all, you'll
have a chance to do it again, but with a clearer head and an unfettered heart.

Gemini

The Pisces full moon may shed some light on vague notions about becoming a better
you. Whatever that entails, e.g., obtaining another degree, spending time traveling
or doing charity work, could seem more important this week than it has in a long
time. A moment of clarity, bordering on brilliance, might strike when your Mercury
ruler confronts barrier-breaking Uranus; therefore, be sure to pay attention to
the random thoughts that cross your mind on the 28th. They are a precursor of
things to come, and sooner than you think.

Cancer

Every full moon strikes a different chord with a Moon Child; however, when the
lunation occurs in Pisces, a simpatico water sign like your own, you could become
aware that a stronger alliance is being forged. With whom and over what depends
on the resources – emotional, financial and physical – that are shared.
Also note that your values may be shifting; what was important around your birthday
doesn't carry the same weight today. Long-range plans remain the same, but
the path is no longer carved in stone.

Leo

Shaking loose the ties that bind? Still pursuing respectability? As of Labor Day,
Lions may be set free from the limitations Saturn has placed on you during the
past two and a half years. And while the planet of crystallization might not relax
its grip on your shoulders just yet, it soon will. Saturn's transit through
discerning Virgo will focus on your assets, talents and values. If ever you had
the thought “One day I'll get serious about financial planning,”
get ready; that day is fast approaching.

Virgo

Some Virgins are happier if they're working on their birthday; they love
to feel “useful.” Others look for legitimate reasons to goof off,
and while they might put up with the attention being lavished on them, they'd
prefer celebrating the occasion in their own inimitable, often solitary, way.
Just know that, willingly or not, you're currently the target of whatever
a generous relative, an indecisive employer and an unpredictable partner have
in mind. There's no escaping, and this is only the beginning.

Libra

While your Venus ruler is finishing its retrograde trip through Leo, it may seem
like nothing much is happening, that you're simply seeing old faces or revisiting
places you've been before. That may be true, but on another level, you're
completing a passage through time and space that is necessary for further growth.
Not unlike clearing a flower bed so that you can plant something new to nurture.
Venus facing forward on September 8 marks one turning point in the process of
your revitalization; November 8, when it enters Libra, another.

Scorpio

Colleagues and casual acquaintances could play a greater role in your version
of Fall Season 2007. As more planets move into Virgo, even a single-minded Scorpion
might become a bit more dependent on their input. It's okay; they are the
folks who will increase your income stream as well as your involvement with sociopolitical
affairs, and that includes tailgating parties. See what flows from the full moon
in Pisces, a compassionate water sign that can stir romantic feelings toward one
of those no-longer-casual acquaintances.

Sagittarius

Perhaps more than an opening night on Broadway or the return of a favorite TV
show, it's the first football game of the season that Centaurs, like this
one, look forward to. The excitement can mount when detail-driven Mercury tests
the optimism our Jupiter ruler readily supplies. Word from Mercury is also responsible
for the disturbance at home that may occur during the Pisces full-moon period.
It's only a matter of time (Labor Day) before the well-informed Virgo sun
challenges Jupiter's willingness to believe. Please, don't bet the
farm.

Capricorn

Maybe it's because you're a Sea Goat that the watery Pisces full moon
resonates so strongly with your practical earth sign. It's apparent to longtime
observers that the affinity between the two signs seems heightened during this
late-summer phenomenon. So grab hold of your favorite Fish and see what comes
out of the confab. Caps can help ground this highly emotional species while they
are flailing about; they can provide you with the creative juice you need to end
a dry spell. A Pisces can also ease your Saturn ruler's transition out of
fiery Leo on 9/2.

Aquarius

Saturn's exit out of Leo, the sign of your significant others, should free
you from the more stringent restrictions the Old Man insisted that your partnership
endure. Especially while the planet opposed idealistic Neptune in your sign, off
and on for the past 12 months. It may take a while – Saturn moves slowly
– to notice a major change, but you could get a hint of what lies in store
after the Virgo-Pisces full-moon eclipse draws your attention to a financial matter
you and/or your mate have not adequately addressed.

Pisces

Give the Fish a full moon to call their own and they'll want another, even
if it is a total lunar eclipse, like the one on the 28th. Because of the eclipse,
there's a chance that, along with fluctuating moods, you'll feel under-appreciated
or unfulfilled. Submerged emotions can rise, like the tide, during this event,
so you're liable to have plenty of “stuff” to deal with. However,
since the sun and Mercury are in your Virgo house of partners, there'll
be astute people to talk it over with. Listen, but don't take their opinions
too much to heart.
