What have The Chicks been up to?

The Chicks have emerged from the pandemic with a lot of energy. They released their latest album Gaslighter in 2020 — their first new record since Taking the Long Way which they dropped in 2006 — then went on a pretty sizeable U.S. tour last year. They officially changed their name to “The Chicks” from “The Dixie Chicks” on June 25th, 2020, as they disliked the the connotations “Dixie” had with slavery.

Before their tour this year, they will be have a six night residency at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas’s Zappos Theater, dubbed “The Chicks: Six Nights in Vegas,” set for early May.
