Phantogram performed at the El Rey on Wednesday, May 17, as part of a fundraiser for the David Lynch Foundation. The filmmaker's foundation promotes implementation of transcendental meditation in order to improve “health, cognitive capabilities, and performance in life.” Phantogram's Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter were joined by two musicians to help bring songs from their three full-length albums to life during a 90-minute set list that kept fans enthralled throughout.
