Thousands of people descended on downtown L.A. on Saturday, Feb. 18, to show their support for immigrants in the age of Trump. The crowd, led by musicians and dancers, marched from Pershing Square to City Hall. A group of about 10 counter-protesters was present but separated by police; at one point, a protester was detained for snatching a sign from a counter-protester but was later released.
