It’s not unusual for OnlyFans creators to deal with stalkers. But a home invasion where the robbers demand access to a crypto account? That isn’t common, yet it’s what gaming streamer and adult content creator Kaitlyn Siragusa (known as “Amouranth” online) faced this weekend.

The 31-year-old was pulled out of bed in her Houston home around 11pm CT by three armed robbers — and she tweeted about the experience as it happened on X (formerly known as Twitter.) Police believe the suspects entered by shooting out the patio window and kicking in the bedroom door before grabbing Siragusa and demanding she give them access to her $20 million in crypto.

How did they know the Twitch gaming streamer had that much? Because she shared her earnings publicly in November. She claimed to have over 211 BTC, worth $20 million, and 22.9 ETH, worth over $79,000 at the time, which would be worth $19.4 million and almost $54,000 today. That information is likely what led the robbers to choose to break into her house and violently assault her as they tried to get her to give them her crypto earnings.

Siragusa claims she was pistol-whipped multiple times as the robbers tried to get into the accounts. At some point she managed to lead the suspects to a different area of her home where her husband was waiting with a loaded gun.

That’s when he opened fire on the trio of men, reportedly shooting one on their way out the door and into the night. A trail of blood left behind revealed the hit, though it’s unclear where the robber was shot or how bad it was. Siragusa lost blood of her own as a result of the assault, explaining in an X post that she lost a considerable amount of blood on the way to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Siragusa shared a video of the robbery on her X account with a statement: “They beat me before this video and pistol-whipped me. The pummeling felt like it would never end, and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I learned how to do in boxing. Blood was streaming down my head, and my hands were beat brown. They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.”

People were a bit skeptical of the story online, wondering if the social media influencer made up the story to get attention. Others commented, asking why she would tweet that she was being robbed instead of simply calling 911 for help.

Siragusa responded to some of those comments with: “Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence.”

Law enforcement has also made it clear that they do not believe this was a stunt. They have launched a full-scale investigation into the attack, examining surveillance footage, digital forensics, and eyewitness statements to identify and apprehend those responsible.

While law enforcement works on their investigation, Siragusa is stepping up security herself. Her assistant confirmed that she would not be left alone, and that professional security personnel had been hired to ensure her safety.

She joins the ranks of many OnlyFans creators who are beginning to invest in more security measures to avoid situations just like this.
