Several sources are reporting that Nadya Suleman, the Whittier mother of octuplets born in a Bellflower Kaiser Permanente hospital last week, is hoping to rake in $2 million from TV interviews and product sponsorships. The 33-year-old woman has been under increasing fire by letter writers to newspapers and by bloggers, who predicted she and her brood of 14 children would become a burden on California taxpayers.

However, following the lead of Amber Frey, Joe the Plumber and other 15-nanosecond celebrities, Suleman sees gold at the end of her story arc.
According to the Times of London, Suleman “intends to talk to
two influential television hosts this week — media mogul Oprah Winfrey,
and Diane Sawyer, who presents Good Morning America.”
