We're getting spoiled with all of these free albums, right? Just one song for free? Oh well – for a Wednesday morning it will have to do.

Click on over to this page on Sigur Ros' website and in exchange for your email address you'll get a fast download of a new three-minute ditty full of acoustic guitars, hand-claps, and “la la las” as far as the eye can see.

The track's called “Gobbledigook” and by now, I'm just going to deal with the fact that they're never going to make another song as tear-inducingly beautiful as “Svefn-g-englar”

Read on for naked people-filled video…

From the same page (this one) there's also a link to play a Quicktime video of the new track, which bares the intriguing warning: “This material contains adult content. By clicking on the buttons above you are confirming you are over 18.” i.e.: Naked people running through a forest and frolicking like Icelandic elves. It's directed by Arni & Kinski with help from Ryan McGinley, who did the album cover, and also likes naked people.

There's a new Sigur Ros album coming next month: Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (With a buzz in our ears we play endlessly), out June 23, which was co-produced by Flood. You can order it early directly from their website on June 2. They apparently recorded the whole album in just a few weeks, and finished in May.
