Blues, Rags and Hollers (Audiophile AP78)

Koerner, Ray & Glover had an album entitled Blues, Rags and Hollers produced by Paul Rothchild. I love that record.  When I was in high school these three guys from Minneapolis move to New York to get into the blues scene influenced by Leadbelly and Robert Johnson people like that. I was influenced a lot by them and some of my writing was lifted from some of their licks — ha ha.

Robby Krieger plays with Ryan Hahn & the Believers, Zakk DeBono and the Broken Circle at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 28 at the Whisky A Go Go.
