Yeah, it was sickening when the current version of the Beach Boys appeared at a pre-election Trump rally. We expect better from our musical heroes, especially here in California. It at least lightened the load when Brian Wilson spoke out against it. The version of the band performing a drive-in show at the City National Grove of Anaheim’s Drive-In OC is still the one led by Mike Love, so you have your own decisions to make.

But still, here is a version of the Beach Boys performing some of the best songs in rock & roll’s history, in what we’re assured is a safe environment as long as everybody follows the rules. A press release reads:

“The drive-in show will feature a mix of Beach Boys’ classics as well as new material including Love’s latest single ‘This Too Shall Pass,’ which he released at the start of the pandemic via BMG to encourage positivity during this unprecedented time. Produced by Scott Totten and featuring special guest John Stamos on drums, the song is available for streaming and download HERE. The Beach Boys perform at the City National Grove of Anaheim’s Drive-In OC on Sunday, December 13. Get info here
