On Saturday, May 3, at CAP UCLA Quetzal, the Grammy Award-winning East L.A. band blending Chicano rock, R&B, and Mexican folk traditions into something that’s politically charged is heading west.

They’re performing at The Nimoy Theater in Westwood, and it’s described as more than just a concert,  a homegrown celebration of culture, resistance, and radical joy. Quetzal’s sound is rooted in community and storytelling. They’ll also have a free matinee performance for local students on Friday, May 2, part of CAP UCLA’s Design for Sharing program.

Hotel Per La will also host activations open to the public at Bar Clara on the rooftop on the nights of the show at Sofi Stadium – April 28, May 1, May 4, May 7, and May 9. From 3 p.m. to  8 p.m. There will be live DJ sets inspired by the tour,  signature SirDavis American Whisky cocktails, and an Instagram-worthy photo setup featuring neon COWBOY CARTER TOUR signage.

 Oscar, Golden Globe, and Emmy-nominated actor and Grammy Award-winning music producer and musician, Andy Garcia, and the Cineson All Stars will return to Hollywood’s historic  Catalina Jazz Club with their Cuban Jam Session. Garcia recently performed at the Kennedy Center Honors to pay tribute to another Catalina Jazz Club favorite, Arturo Sandoval.  The session takes place on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17
