A man was shot to death next to his car in South Los Angeles December 22. Kevin Shallowhorn, 25, walked outside of his house in the 1600 block of East 110 th Street to use his phone in his car when he was approached by an unknown suspect or suspects who shot him multiple times in the upper torso and right leg with a shot gun.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The motive is unknown. Police don't know whether the shooting is gang-related. Anyone with information should call South Bureau Homicide at 213-485-4341.
