The two men who were killed in an August 25 shooting at West 101st and South Main streets have been identified.

Sixteen-year-old Robert Lee Nelson Jr. died in the Tuesday-night shooting that also claimed the life of Drayvon Lamont James, 29. According to police reports, the gunman walked up to the pair and opened fire just before 8:10 p.m. Both victims were shot in the head by an unknown black assailant. Police believe the fatal attack was gang-related. Anyone with information should call Southeast Division detectives at (213) 972-7828.
