Juan Espinoza, 19, was shot on the corner of Friar Street and Vesper Avenue in Van Nuys July 31.
According to the police the incident happened 10.30 p.m., after a verbal dispute between the suspect and Espinoza. Investigators have indicated the gunman to be a male Hispanic with black hair between 20-30 years of age. The killer, after shooting Espinoza, fled the scene in a 1980s white two- or four-door Honda Civic. Investigations are underway and no arrests have been made yet.
