ZZ Top: That Little Ol’ Band from Texas will have its world premiere at Arclight’s Cinerama Dome on Tuesday, before expanding to additional L.A. theaters on August 20th. The bearded trio of rockers were launched to superstardom in the early 1970s, and have maintained a strong following despite the numerous peaks and valleys associated with a career in the music industry. This celebratory musical doc directed by Sam Dunn interviews these intrepid bluesmen and intercuts the footage with archival material, animation, and celebrity fan testimonials.
