Palms residents should gather up their reusable hemp bags this weekend for the opening of the new Motor Ave. Farmers Market, a long-awaited community project sponsored by the Motor Avenue Improvement Society.

The market will debut this Sunday, Sept. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a selection of local fruits & veggies, prepared foods from local restaurants and bakers, crafts and jewelry from local shops, and much more.

You can even park your bike at the free bicycle valet — sponsored by Palms Cycle — while you shop. Expect the market to run every Sunday on the corner of Motor Avenue and National Boulevard.
