46-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Dobson Road

MESA, AZ (March 19, 2024)Michael Clark died late Tuesday night in a motorcycle accident on eastbound US 60. The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m., near Dobson Road on March 12th.

Police report that the 18-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette was speeding when the accident occurred. Unable to stop in time, the Corvette collided with the back of a motorcyclist in the HOV lane, causing him to be thrown into a concrete wall.

Following the crash, the Corvette driver tried to administer CPR to the victim. The victim, identified as 46-year-old Clark, later succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the Corvette remained unharmed. Authorities are actively investigating the matter.
