Meshell Ndegeocello performed at Santa Monica Pier as part of the Twilight Concert Series on Thursday night. Her latest album, “Pour une Âme Souveraine: A Dedication to Nina Simone” was release in 2012. The evening started early with thousands staking their spot in the sand (and on the pier) to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful weather. All photos by Timothy Norris.
