Five months into pandemic and the masks debate lingers. Unfortunately, so does the coronavirus. While face coverings have become mandatory in order to enter most indoor businesses in Los Angeles, some people have remained adamantly against them, leading to standoffs and even violent encounters, many caught on video and then going viral. Masks are about protecting ourselves and others and nearly every doctor and science-driven expert recommends wearing them now more than ever.  The latest installment of our slideshow series Masked features more fun face cover selfies to inspire us all to take precaution and reflect our personal style in the process.

Masked is a regular series on laweekly.com for the time being. If you’d like to share your face covered looks, follow @LAWeekly and @LinaLecaro on Instagram and tag your mask selfies #LAWeeklyMasked.
