62-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident on Green Valley Road

GRATON, CA (October 20, 2021) – A 62-year-old Sebastopol man was hospitalized with major injuries after a hit-and-run accident on Green Valley Road Monday morning.

The incident occurred at 7:00 a.m. on Green Valley Road between Thomas and Green Valley School roads.

According to the CHP, the victim was crossing Green Valley outside the crosswalk when a westbound vehicle struck him.

Responding medics transported him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with significant injuries, but he is conscious and responding.

Authorities believed the accused hit-and-run motorist was driving a red sedan; however, investigators have not determined the license plate number of the vehicle.

At this time, officials have not released the identity of the victim involved. Once available, more information will be released.
