“Drive-thru metal” band Mac Sabbath, a fast food–themed Black Sabbath tribute band — what else? — delivered a haunting performance at the Regent Theater on Friday, Aug. 5. Also on the summer's weirdest bill were PPL MVR, a power-rock trio of Sasquatch-like creature and horror-punk pioneers Haunted Garage. And the fans were just as colorful and creative as the bands.
