A 36-year-old man was stabbed to death inside a hotel room in Wilmington August 10. According to police reports, Luis Sevilla was stabbed several times in the chest by his 28-year-old wife Angelina after the couple got into an argument at around 12:40 a.m. Tuesday. After Sevilla was stabbed with a knife, he walked out of the hotel in the 800 block of Watson Avenue, got into his car and drove away from the hotel. He drove several blocks away when his car collided with a light pole and parked car. Sevilla was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Sevilla's wife was discovered walking out of another hotel room where she was taken into custody and booked for murder. Detectives don't know why she stabbed him. Anyone with information about the attack should contact LAPD Harbor Division detectives at (310) 726-7879.
