In this age of mad cow disease, SARS and Ebola, it's comforting to know that once upon a time, the only horror our normal bodies held was that of natural change. Celebrating this slightly more innocent era of personal repulsion, the Lost & Found Film Club presents tonight's cavalcade of cinematic sickness, Our Disgusting Bodies. Via the singular faded glory of 16mm film, the bill's short subjects cover everything that can ooze, seep or suppurate from the human body in its long journey toward entropy. If you were looking for a reason that some films get lost, here it is — not because they should go missing but because truth delivered through the prism of cinema is sometimes more revolting and nauseating than we can handle.
