JARRITOS POP-UP SHOP

7020 Melrose Ave., Sat.-Sun., June 29-30, noon-10 p.m.

Is Jarritos the PBR of sodas? The Mexican soft-drink company has been hosting some awesome bashes lately, and this weekend the pop really, well, pops up, with two days of music, fashion and art geared toward the hip-kid market — both Latin and non-Latin. The fashion-forward bazaar known as Yeah Gurl has teamed up with the soda to present a party on Melrose featuring vampy clothing and accessories vendors (including L.A. Glaneur, Joe Anthony Salas and Rojas), art (Pore, Mikolaj, Ben Phen, Milenna Sariava, Chris Melgar, Shawn Higgins, Changes) and DJs (Sindrisalad, Junior, Andre Power, Jeniluv, Beeper King) on Saturday.

Sunday will feature more designers and more DJs (David Banjela, Sharper Image, Jaime G., Kill By Synth). Both days also offer nail services, live painting and live performances, with Nikko Gray on Saturday and Shezi Rosewood on Sunday. Oh yeah, and Pabst Blue Ribbon is on board, too. Naturally.
