Santa Monica police today announced that Kelvin Ramirez, a part-time special education aide at Santa Monica High School, has been charged with suspicion of sexual battery.

A 15-year-old girl Ramirez was working with on-campus came forward Dec. 20 and alleged that “she was grabbed on the buttocks” by the man, according to a Santa Monica police statement distributed today.

The 34-year-old suspect …

… was charged with misdemeanor sexual battery and was scheduled to face the music at the LAX courthouse on Feb. 27, police said.

Cops seem to want to know if the suspect might have been accused of this by others. As such, they're asking folks to come forward if they can help the case against him.
