Keep it BreezyLYN: Brooklyn rapper BreezyLYN has released new single and video “Muny” and it’s one of the best hip-hop songs released so far this year (admittedly, it’s early days).

“Produced by multi-platinum hitmaker Diego Ave (Chris Brown, Coi Leray) and Chambers (Lil Durk, 21 Savage), the defiant track finds the 23-year-old manifesting the finer things in life and motivating a new generation of hustlers,” they say. “The Bed-Stuy baddie delivers major boss chick energy in the stylish music video directed by Jerry Morka, which premiered on VIBE.com. ‘Muny’ serves as the lead single on BreezyLYN’s debut EP Hood Mona Lisa, slated for release this Spring.

Hopes are high that this will be a big year for BreezyLYN.

“Born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, she has quietly risen up from Marcy Houses – the neighborhood immortalized by Hip-Hop icon JAY-Z,” they say. “In 2022, she continued her hometown’s legacy with her explosive debut single “Bad Bitches,” an unapologetic anthem packed with a message of self-love and self-expression. The drill-centric track has generated over 14 million streams globally and earned plugs from Cardi B, Coi Leray, Coco Jones, Ashanti and more. The all-star remix featuring Lola Brooke and Kaliii elevated the song to new heights with slick wordplay and flamboyant verses bursting with feminine energy. Her energetic second single ‘KEEP WISHING’ featured Philadelphia rapper 2Rare and interpolates the R&B staple “One Wish” performed by Ray J. BreezyLYN’s forthcoming debut project Hood Mona Lisa is jam-packed with hard-hitting bars exuding the confidence of a self-assured young woman.”

Keep it BreezyLYN: BreezyLYN’s “Muny” is out now.
