Since we went to press this week, a number of new food banks for the striking janitors have gone up around town, where your donations of canned and other non-perishable foods are most welcome. As well, you can make financial contributions to the janitors’ struggle to create a more just L.A, by making a tax- deductible donation to the food bank project, or a non-tax deductible donation to the janitors’ strike fund. To swell the strike fund directly, you can make out a check to – and mail to:
