May highlights the critical role of peer support in recovery, underscoring Anzen Health’s commitment to facilitating conversations that can pivot individuals from the brink of another life-changing decision. The helpline features a diverse group of over 30 individuals who have battled addiction to one of the 30 most common opioid pills. These advisors share their journey from addiction to recovery, offering invaluable insights and support to callers.

Beyond personal stories, the helpline also directs callers to vital resources, including emergency support through 988 and access to concrete treatment options via the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline. To ensure the helpline reaches as many individuals as possible, 855-HOW-TO-QUIT-OPIOIDS is being promoted across the United States through strategic placements on billboards, out-of-home media, social media platforms, and partnerships with various media outlets.
May reiterates, “Our mission is to extend a helping hand to as many people as possible. With the support of our partners, we’re amplifying the visibility of this crucial initiative. We’re excited to see and hear this project’s impact and turn despair into hope and struggle into support for others.”
The hotline 855-HOW-TO-QUIT-OPIOIDS is available across all 50 states and operates 24/7, with plans for further enhancement soon.
