Only funny because no one was seriously injured: A Yorba Linda woman was arrested on suspicion of stabbing her ex-boyfriend and roommate with an ice pick in a church parking lot, Brea police reported today.

The victim was leaving a meeting at a Lutheran Church in Yorba Linda Monday night when, according to police, he was attacked from behind in his 2006 Mercedes-Benz convertible.

Police say the man's ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Cuevas Villanueva, was in the backseat waiting for him, ice pick in hand.

The man was stabbed multiple times in the head and the shoulders with said ice pick, police said. He tried to put his car in park, and then punched the gas, slamming into a tree.

The alleged attacker ran away, but police were able to find her near Abbey Lane and Liverpool Street. (Yorba Linda Streets were named by a Beatles fan?)

The two had stopped dating about four months ago, but still lived together, police said. (Never a good situation.)

Villanueva was arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide, felony domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a weapon,

Investigators had not yet determined a motive for the attack.
