How Renowned Soccer Trainer Yasser Siddiqui Succeeded In a Non-Collaborative Environment

Entering a new market or penetrating one with a new product is very difficult when the people around you do not collaborate as they should in an open market. To get out of this predicament, different marketing strategies can be employed to remedy the situation. Being successful in entering a market and then thriving in it is something that Yasser Siddiqui has done. The founder of Ayta Sports Limited has transformed himself and taken his business across the world.

Hailing from New Delhi, India, Yasser was born in Muscat, Oman, and lived in Abu Dhabi for a few years. He moved back to New Delhi in 1996, and like all the boys in India, he always showed interest in cricket and athletics. After getting his Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business, he made his way to Canada to explore business opportunities in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Yasser founded Ayta Sports Limited after experiencing many disappointments in Canadian business society. Having come all the way from India without contacts or connections, Yasser faced a very closed-off and non-collaborative market in Canada. He tried every strategy in the book to launch his business in the sports technology market. He did so because he was always passionate about athletics, especially soccer.

With immense difficulty and hard work, Yasser got the right to sell sports technology equipment from a UK-based company called Elite Skills Arena. After getting the right to sell and distribute all over the west coast of Canada, Yasser stepped into another obstacle – A lack of enthusiasm and unanswered calls for collaboration. Many clubs, gyms, and companies could have benefited from this technology, but none were willing to collaborate with Yasser. After trying multiple times and failing to start communication, he began at the ground level by training and developing athletes.

To train and develop athletes from start to finish, Yasser had to get several certifications and attend different courses, which he did successfully. He got the C license from BC Soccer and is now officially training athletes. He went on to earn certifications as a performance enhancement specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Yasser wants to establish a friendly environment for the business society and encourage new talent into the business world. He wants to achieve this by empowering new entrepreneurs to come and settle their businesses and ventures in Canada.
