Homeboy Industries, a non-profit gang intervention group, will open its newest eatery, Homebody Diner, on Thursday — this one inside City Hall.

Founded by Father Greg Boyle in 1992, the organization already runs the semi-successful Homegirl CafΓ© near Chinatown and has, in the past year or so, branched out to sell their line of tortilla chips and salsa in supermarkets. (They were even aiming for a concession at LAX.) Doors at Homeboy Diner open on Thursday, June 9th at 10 a.m.

Where: 200 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
