24-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Accident near Lower Buckeye Road

PHOENIX, AZ (November 1, 2023)Giovanni Hermosillo Falcon died early Saturday in a dump-truck collision on 35th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m., on October 28th. Per reports, an SUV driver and the driver of a 10-wheeler dump-truck collided for reasons unknown. Dispatchers arrived and found both involved vehicles with damage. Due to the impact of the crash, the driver of the SUV suffered life-threatening injuries. Paramedics later pronounced Falcon, 24, deceased. In addition, the driver of the dump-truck remained uninjured and cooperated with authorities. Police officers currently believe that speed played a factor. Personnel eventually shut down 35th Avenue between Lower Buckeye Road and Durango Street. At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway.
