Despite its name, the second annual Pasadena Wine Festival isn't just about vino. The outdoor food fête at the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens promises visitors a banquet for the senses with a caravan of food trucks, live entertainment, and lawn games — on top of food tastings and wine samples from over 125 international wineries.

Following last year's mega-successful debut, the Pasadena Wine Festival's sophomore edition brings even more fun, food and games to the LA Arboretum with dozens of wines from California, France, Italy, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. Gourmet food trucks include the Grilled Cheese Truck, World Fare Bustaurant, Dosa Truck, Crepe'n Around, the Border Grill Truck and Sprinkles Cupcakes. Ryan Cross, Jose Espinosa, and Lindsay Harper provide the afternoon's live jazz and salsa music, while the LA Arboretum offers tram tours of its gardens and the massive lawn welcomes games of bocce ball, horse shoes and more. With all the outdoor action, be sure not to forget your sunscreen… or umbrella. These days, you can't tell.

Pasadena Wine Festival, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on October 9 at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. $28 General Admission; $55 Deluxe Pass; $85 VIP Ticket. Purchase tickets online; more information on the Pasadena Wine Festival website.
