Indulge in Halloween this year in VR with Live Immersive actors and a chilling Sci-Fi story line.
Los Angeles, California (Oct. 13th 2020) – Step inside a haunted house virtually this year from the comfort of your own home with an immersive theatrical production of PARA, a 20-minute Halloween haunt. While many haunted houses are closed due to the Pandemic, PARA will be available for viewing with a virtual reality headset hosted in VRChat.
Guests will arrive at the seemingly innocuous PARA headquarters for a tour of their latest AI products and be drawn into a maze of confusion where things are not as they seem. You will run for your life as you try and find your way out of this mad world.
An ensemble cast of 12 brings this terrifying tale to life, including Deirdre V. Lyons, Sophie Cooper, Whitton Frank, Karlie Blair, professional VR actors from the The Under Presents, a time and mind-bending immersive theater experience in VR that was selected as a finalist for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Media.
PARA is written by Braden Roy and is produced and directed by Brian Tull, Braden Roy, Deirdre V. Lyons and Stephen Butchko. It will run Thursday through Sunday from 5:35pm to 8pm PDT until October 31st. Intimate audiences will experience chills, thrills and the charms of Halloween.
