Enginuity Power Systems is a forward-thinking company based in Alexandria, VA, focusing on revolutionizing energy and energy storage solutions with a strong emphasis on innovation. Enginuity boasts an impressive portfolio of products supported by 35 patents safeguarding its disruptive energy technologies. Enginuity’s mission is to democratize access to cost-effective and reliable clean energy, making it accessible to everyone.

Jacques Beaudry-Losique serves as the CEO of Enginuity Power Systems. His vision is for Enginuity to emerge as the leading global technology provider in clean, distributed energy systems.  Under his leadership, the company is addressing the challenges posed by reliance on expensive and unreliable energy sources and the vulnerabilities of existing infrastructure. One of Enginuity’s core solutions leverages proprietary opposed piston engine technology, offering lightweight, multi-fuel capabilities and impressive efficiency gains compared to conventional technologies. These systems are designed to be dynamically scalable, quiet, and highly efficient, making them suitable for a wide range of applications across residential, commercial, industrial, and governmental sectors.

Jacques Beaudry-Losique brings decades of experience in the energy industry to the table. His journey in this field began during his college days when he recognized the strategic importance of the energy sector. Having worked across various sectors within the industry, including oil and gas, electrical generation, renewables, and energy efficiency, he gained a comprehensive understanding of its intricacies and challenges.

Before joining Enginuity Power Systems, Jacques Beaudry-Losique served as a clean-tech executive for ten years, contributing significantly to the advancement of clean energy technologies. Before that, he held roles in technology consulting, government, and corporate ventures, where he had the opportunity to explore a wide range of clean energy technologies, from solar and wind to biomass, renewable fuels, biogas, and, of course, combined heat and power.

In mid-2019, Jacques Beaudry-Losique transitioned from being a board member to becoming the CEO of Enginuity Power Systems. He was drawn to the company by its original and inventive concept, joining the two founders to help realize its immense growth and impact potential.

“My motivation is to have an impact, provide more families and businesses with clean, reliable, affordable energy, and really make a difference,” says Beaudry-Losique

The company’s flagship product, an all-in-one private generation appliance incorporating this technology named the E-Series 8 kW, garnered significant attention and acclaim. Enginuity’s product received multiple awards at the 2020 International Builders Show (IBS), including the Best Energy Efficient Product, Best Home Technology Product, and Best In Show. Similarly, at the AHR 2022 appliance show, the company’s solution was recognized as the Most Sustainable Solution.

The team at Enginuity Power Systems is comprised of talented individuals with a broad range of expertise. Co-founders Jim Warren and Steve Niswander lead the company’s technology development and business development efforts, respectively. Additionally, the company has assembled a strong professional team, including Dr Phil Zoldak, John Morris, and Kelly Rosenberger, each bringing valuable leadership and expertise to the table.

“We have a very strong team that’s ready for the company to be public. Much stronger than the average startup,” explained Beaudry-Losique when speaking about the team.

Enginuity Power Systems has also forged strategic partnerships with powerhouse organizations, including Kiturami, a leading Korean boiler and tankless heater manufacturer, the Department of Energy, the US Army, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Hyundai vendors. These partnerships are instrumental in advancing the company’s research and development efforts and expanding its market reach.

Since its inception in late 2015, Enginuity Power Systems has experienced significant growth and success. A notable milestone was the acquisition of Katech Engineering in Clinton Township, Michigan, which bolstered the company’s product development capabilities and brought credibility to its partnerships with investors and buyers. Enginuity plans to launch several new products in 2024 and 2025.  With a dedicated team and a commitment to innovation, Enginuity Power Systems is poised to continue making strides in the clean energy industry.
