If you ate a sandwich at Jerry's Famous Deli in Westwood between Nov. 18 and 24, you might want to get a hepatitis A vaccination.

Turns out an employee there got the hep. And he was making sandwiches Nov. 18, 21, 23 and 24. Yummie sandwiches. That could maybe make you sick.

The good news? The notice by the L.A. County Department of Health does not apply to any of the other Jerry's locations, including the one on Beverly Boulevard. So feel free to have your after-party festivities there and clog traffic out front as usual.

The bad news? “The hepatitis A virus is spread by close physical contact and through fecal contamination of food or drink,” states the county.

The best news, however, is that no customers have contracted the virus so far.
