Washington-based Nutriom LLC is recalling more than 226,000 pounds of processed egg products due to possible salmonella contamination. The products were shipped nationwide and to U.S. military installations in the United States, and abroad, as well as to Canada.

The dried egg products were produced between Feb. 28, 2013 and Feb. 8, 2014, mostly under the OvaEasy brand, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced. (Yes, that covers an entire production year.)

Officials say there have been no reports of adverse reactions to the powdered-egg products, but the recall is ranked Class 1, meaning it carries a high health risk.

The recalled products include “OvaEasy Boil-in-Bag Egg Mix, Butter Flavor,” “OvaEasy Plain Whole Egg” and “Egg Crystal, Sausage and Herb.” Click here for the complete list of recalled products.
