Are you feeling that slightly cooler night air yet? It's finally fall. It's time to mosey on up to your favorite old-school bar and wrap your hands around a glass of heart-warming whisky.

And then Uber it home.

The Los Angeles Police Department will be on the hunt once again for drunk drivers. We suspect cops are only going to be more and more visible as we get closer to the beer holiday known as Halloween, too.

Luckily LAPD thinks that warning you about when and where they'll be on the hunt will save lives by dissuading people from getting behind the wheel after one too many.

Here's your weekend 411:

Tonight from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. extra police will hit the streets of LAPD's 77th Street Division of South Los Angeles. The department calls this a “saturation patrol.”

Tonight from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. a DUI saturation patrol will strike in LAPD's Wilshire Division area, which includes Mid-City, Arlington Heights, Brookside Park, Carthay Circle, Country Club Park, Fairfax, Hancock Park, Larchmont Village, Miracle Mile, Windsor Square and more.

Tonight from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. an LAPD checkpoint will welcome you to La Brea Avenue at Rodeo Road near South L.A.'s Baldwin Village (of Training Day fame).

Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. a checkpoint will be running on Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Califa Street in Woodland Hills.

Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. a checkpoint will be awaiting your arrival on Cahuenga Boulevard and Broadlawn Drive in the Universal City area.

Be safe.
