Dudamel Conducts Gershwin at the Bowl: The summer program at the Hollywood Bowl is in full swing now, and that includes a bunch of awesome classical music events. If you’re new to the genre, if you have a passing interest after binging Mozart in the Jungle, we highly recommend going to see something classical at this historic venue. Your LA Philharmonic will never let you down.

On Tuesday, the Maestro Gustavo Dudamel will conduct the LA Phil through America composer George Gershwin’s “Cuban Overture,” Rhapsody in Blue,” “An American in Paris,” plus selected songs. Pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and countertenor John Holiday will join in the fun.

Check out the Hollywood Bowl website for the full program.
