Dr. Parameswaran took a bold step by pursuing postgraduate studies at the Yale School of Medicine Integrated Thoracic Surgery Residency, stepping directly into cardiothoracic (CT) surgery immediately after medical school. A testament to her distinguished capabilities, at the time of her application, she was one of only two applicants admitted to the Yale School of Medicine program out of approximately 25 medical school graduates accepted into Integrated CT Surgery residencies nationwide.
