Deborah Feingold discusses photography in her lecture, “So You Want to Be a Rock ‘n’ roll Star.” Feingold began her career shooting the ‘70s jazz scene in New York; she’s gone on to capture images of American presidents, Nobel laureates, actors and musicians for Rolling Stone, GQ and Time. Her new book, Music, includes an introduction by noted writer and Rolling Stone contributing editor Anthony DeCurtis, and boasts more than 30 years’ worth of portraits of Mick Jagger, Madonna, Keith Richards, Prince, Bono, James Brown, Cyndi Lauper, Chet Baker and other music icons.
