You've considered yourself a “party animal” since the expression was first popular. You relish howling along with rock & roll classics. You can stomp and sweat and do that shaking-your-hair thing with the best of 'em. And by “'em” I'm talking about the giraffes, camels and assorted apes of the L.A. Zoo. The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association opens the gates for Music in the Zoo: Classic Rock Night. Stroll by the incarcerated beasts while enjoying cover bands specializing in the Beatles, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, the Rolling Stones and many more. Bring a picnic or buy food from an international menu — but do not give hummus to the orangutans.
